New temporary exhibition for the Museum Thyssen this year 2012

Hermen Exhibition

Paintings of Hermen Anglada-Camarasa are exposed temporarily with more than 50 works clearly aimed at the female figure. Thanks to the cooperation of the La Caixa Obra Social and Silvia Pizarro, who would be the granddaughter of Hermen, making it possible to discover the art of one of the national artists with more experience and fame between the final ages 19 and in the early Century 20.

The works comprise 55 paintings full of femininity, because in this exhibition is dedicated to see in depth the passing of the female figure by the artist's paintings, large number of these pictures are taken from La Caixa Foundation.

About Hermen

The artist from Barcelona studied and trained in Catalonia and then travel to one of the cradles of art, Paris, but it wasn´t the expected, sooner rather than later became deservedly recognized for his artistic creations created a situation that is known all over the internationally because of the acceptance of critics and painters.
